International Street-Organ Festival

23.05.2013
Dear people of Tartu, lovely guests!

Again it is time to fill the streets of Tartu with music and show by the best street-organ players from Europe. As it is already the fifth time, our festival has become a nice tradition that connects Estonia to Europe.

Artists from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland and Estonia bring You historical music, great spectacle and cultural variety that harmonises with the spirit of Tartu. Estonian Theatre and Music Museum remembers the warm welcome of the audience of previous festival and this time we bring You the different sides of this city culture.

Besides the traditional street concerts there will be a children concert in Tartu Toy Museum, classical music concert in Tartu Jaani Church and evening with love songs in the 19th Century Tartu Citizen’s Home Museum. Guest concerts are festival’s tribute to the citizens of Põltsamaa, Rakvere, Viljandi and Tallinn.

To take part in our festival You don’t need expensive tickets, long queues or driving long distances. Just stop on the street, listen to the organ player and welcome to the audience of International Street-Organ Festival Tartu 2013.

See You on the street!
