Banking House In Pärnu / Vorstellung

A banking house in the style of Bank of Estonia department buildings, designed by A. Kotli and O. Soans, is an example of the representative traditionalism of the end of the 1930s. The building got its final finish after World War II and until 1967 it was used as a theatre. It currently accommodates two banks. The historical interior of the first floor was modernised in 2002. The square in front of the building was redesigned to become the new central square of the town in the second half of the 1930s. The present design was completed in 2001.
