Muhu is an once-closed island at the far-western edge of the former Soviet Union and close to Sweden. This 200-square-kilometer Baltic island of over 2,000 inhabitants has preserved its culture and landscape unspoilt during the Soviet isolation from 1940's to the end of 1980's. The uniqueness of the landscape is best known for traditional wooden architecture, thatch-roofed cottages, juniper forests, meadows, fishing villages and fields of wood anemones.

Männiku farm offers comfortable accommodation in a romantic cottage in the middle of quietness and beautiful nature, an hour and a half drive from Tallinn and a half-hour ferry journey from the mainland. We're open all the year round.
