Porkuni Slate Museum / Vorstellung

Since 1992 limestone is declared as national stone of Estonia. Estonian baselayer is mostly limestone and Porkuni region is rich of lime and fossils. Stratotype "Porkuni" is also widely known in the field of geology.

Open from May 2 to September 30
Opening hours: 11.00 – 18.00

From October to May opening hours by appointment
