Pulcinella is one of the most popular and funny masks of Italian carnival and popular theater, the symbol of Naples and its people. He embodies the spirit and atmosphere, made of wit, spontaneity and generosity.
He often appears on stage dressed as a servant smart and lazy, always hungry and looking for something to put under the teeth. Just eating is his dominant thought, a lover of pizza, pasta and wine, he is always afraid of “remain fasting
Much more could be said about Pulcinella but the truth is that this masks the Neapolitan people reserved the function to summarize and express its reality, his desire for revenge and the desire of life.
