Estonians change habits and book late

17.05.2006
Estonians do not seem to be hurrying to book up summer holidays. At first they want to see what the local weather will be like, and they're also hoping for cheap, last-minute trips. Only 30-40 percent of the most successful travel agencies' summer holidays have been booked so far. Sabry Ibrahim, manager of TopTours, says that it is characteristic for Estonia that people start booking trips just a week or two before they go. The most popular destinations this summer are Spain, Portugal, Sicily and Greece. The number of package trips to Turkey has decreased.
