Tartu-Pskov shipping line looked at again

The Estonian Ministry of Economy has returned to the topic of opening a shipping line between Tartu and Pskov. Minister Edgar Savisaar wrote to Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin on June 30 to say that Estonia is ready to start shipping traffic between the village of Praaga and the harbour of Pskov or Strozinets. According to ministry specialist Gerli Koppel, a test trip made five years ago showed that people have a definite interest in this route.
