Aasa Holiday House / Description

Aasa Holiday House welcomes you for a relaxing holiday in nature. We are situated in the South West of Estonia, one hour’s drive from Viljandi, Pärnu and the beach. The two closest airports are in Tallinn (180 km) and Riga (200 km).

The holiday house lies on a meadow scattered with birch-trees, isolated from other houses of the village. It was built in 2010.

On the ground floor, there is a sauna, a toilet room, a modern kitchen and a spacious lounge (for 30 people) with a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a large fridge, a stove, an oven, three sinks, and a dishwasher. There is enough cookware and tableware for 30 people.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms: two with 2 wide beds, one with 2 regular beds and one with 3 regular beds. Extra beds are available. In addition, there is a bathroom with a toilet.

We also offer you Aasa Cottage which is a smaller house and perfectly suitable for a family vacation.

Aasa Cottage was built in 1996, using Estonian traditional knowledge and skills. The logs were squared manually and the walls were tightened with moss. The house has a shingle roof.

Downstairs, there is a hall with a fireplace, a kitchenette, a sauna and a toilet. There are two bedrooms (one for 2 and the other for 4 people) and a balcony upstairs. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric cooker, a fridge and a sink. There is cookware and tableware for 16 people.

There is an outdoor grill and garden furniture outside the holiday house and a volleyball court near the cottage. Equipment for playing badminton, petanque, darts, and board games is available. You can swim in Rahujärv, the picturesque lake 1 km away from the houses.

A 4.2 km hiking trail/ski track starts near the house. You can also take a longer walk to a Lapland-style conical tent resting on a frame of poles. There is a place for campfire inside the tent.
