Aravete Külamuuseum / Description

The Aravete Museum is located in the former Kurisoo Manor, which dates back to the first half of the 19th century and has a front façade decorated with a classicist columned portico. The Aravete Village Museum opened its doors to visitors on June 9, 1989. The museum occupies 10 rooms and the attic in the manor house. The Aravete Village Museum is open to visitors on workdays, and at other times with advance booking.
Interesting facts: The museum includes a fire fighting room, school classroom, teacher’s room, ladies room, radios and gramophones, televisions, Brezhnev-era room, and literature room.
