Estonian Sports Museum / Description

The Estonian Sports Museum, which was founded in 1963, is the national museum for sports, and sports history. The museum has been operating at its present location on Rüütli Street in the centre of Tartu since 2001. The goal of the museum is to collect, preserve and examine materials about physical culture and sports related to the history of Estonia and its people, and present them to the public.
Today, the Sports Museum operates as a diverse cultural centre, organizing exhibitions, seminars and conferences, publishing materials, and offering children entertaining activities.
