Kivimäe recreation farm is located in Taagepera village, which is the crossing point of Valga and Viljandi county in Estonia and Latvian boarder. Historical Helme parish is abundant of culture and history. The area is called “Switzerland of the Livonia“ thanks to its magnificent nature.

Kivimäe Hostel is set up in former building of historical Taagepera estate where in times have been pub and workshop for wide range of woodworks. Old thick brickwalls and hand hewed beams create warm feeling which can tell a grand story full of character and age. The farmhouse, originally dating back to the 1830, is now beautifully restored.
