Luuletaja Gustav GustavWulff-Õie Talumuuseum / Description
When you come to see Lake Nüpli, you are also welcome to visit the home museum of Gustav Wilff-Õis, the author of the popular Estonian song ‘Õrn ööbik…’ (Gentle Nightingale). The museum is run by the poet’s granddaughter Mariann Karupää, who is always pleased to see visitors and will give you an interesting overview of the poet’s life and work. Poet Gustav Wulff-Õis (1865-1946) spent the last years of his life on the Lõhmuse Farm on the shore of Lake Nüpli. The farm-style museum was created in 1960 as a branch of the Estonian Literary Museum.Write a review
