Maardu Manor / Description
Maardu Manor is situated 16 km from Tallinn in the direction of St. Petersburg. The first reports of the Maardu Manor date back to 1397. The Manor has had a number of owners and once belonged to the Empress Catherine I. One of the famous owners was Hermann Jensen von Bohn who helped to finance the publication of the first Estonian-language Bible in 1739.The early central part of the manor house, completed in the 1660s, is characterised by perfect Palladian harmony of form and symmetry.
The Manor offers conference facilities for up to 30 people, 5 rooms for up to 150 people for receptions, parties and celebrations.
