2 kilometres of the trail is an earth-track which runs along the high-voltage power line. Then it reaches the Marimetsa brook and from there along the banks of the brook till the rest area. From there the trail will take you over Kuresilma hill to Marimetsa bog. There is a viewing tower at the edge of the bog, this is where the boardwalk starts. In Marimetsa marsh you will see the fen, the transition bog and the raised bog. The number of birds and plants is also immense.
Good to know:
The length of the trail is 9 kilometres of which 5 kilometres is a boardwalk. You should allow yourself 4–5 hours. The trail is wet at places – do not forget to take your rubber boots. The trail cannot be explored by bike.
