Mihkli Farm Museum / Description

One of the best preserved farmsteads of Northern Hiiumaa is located in Malvaste village. Visitors can learn about the local building traditions and objects related to farms and agriculture in these buildings dating mostly from the 19th century. Until the deportation of 1781, the farm was a home to a family of Hiiumaa Swedes.

Its spacious courtyard is a perfect place for a range of activities. A visit to the unique smoke sauna or a picnic by the forest are just a few of the extra services offered by the museum.
