Tourists took EEK 1 billion of alcohol abroad

According to fresh research conducted by the Estonian Institute of Economic Research, tourists carried out alcohol worth more than EEK 900 million last year. Tourists carried out 3.1 million litres of vodka and 25.7 million litres of beer says Liina Ernits from the Institute. The most popular vodka brands were Viru Valge, Saaremaa and Koskenkorva; the most popular liqueurs were Estonian berry liqueurs, Vana Tallinn and Minttu liqueur.
