Fast ferries wait for ice soup to melt

Fast vessels are due to make this year’s first trips between Tallinn and Helsinki on April 27. This is a later date than earlier forecast since April turned out to be chillier than expected. Nordic Jet Line is the most optimistic and wants to start fast-speed vessel traffic on April 19. Lindaliin owner Enn Rohula says that its fast ferries Laura and Jaanika are completing their spring maintenance and are ready for navigation. Silja Line is planning to send its fast vessels SuperSeaCat Three and SuperSeaCat Four cruising from April 27. Tallink is planning to launch its two AutoExpress boats on April 27; these vessels will make 12 trips every day.
