Conference tourism brings Estonia to world map

Well-organised conferences are politically and economically profitable for small countries and help the countries get greater attention on the world stage. The Estonian Youth Chamber is organising a “Managerial Conference” this year. It wants to show that it is not impossible to throw major events in Estonia, and that Estonia is capable of hosting 2,500 conference guests at a time. Conference tourism has different requirements, customers and expectations than leisure tourism, especially since conference tourists usually spend more money than regular tourists.
