Estonian Air will start flights to Vienna and Hannover

Starting from spring 2012, Estonian Air will open two new destinations to Europe’s key transit centres: on 25 March flights to Vienna with six flights a week and on 2 April to Hannover with six flights a week.

Estonian Air will open several new routes in 2012 to Europe’s most important cities as well as less known regional centres in Nordic countries. ”The logic behind the selection of these destinations is to develop Tallinn into a hub. This will bring more passengers to Estonia using Tallinn Airport as a transfer point in their journey onwards,” noted Tero Taskila, CEO of Estonian Air.

”Vienna is a major transit centre enabling us to cover the Balkan and Southern Europe regions in the future. Austria, which is known for its attractive travel and tourism environments, is also worth of visiting for skiing and city breaks,” explained Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Commercial Manager, reasons behind the decisions.

Tickets to Deutsche Bahn's attractive rail network can be bought from biggest travel agents together with Estonian Air tickets,” noted Rauno Parras.

„As additional benefit our passengers arriving from Tallinn in Hannover will receive a free HannoverCard during the first year of operation (until 24 March 2013) as well as a free ticket for fairs taking place at that time in Hannover.
