Hotel Telegraaf News Letter, December 2009
Tallinn's Christmas Market Tops in Europe
The British publication, Times Online, lists Tallinn’s Christmas market first among Europe’s top 20 Christmas markets, and their feature photograph could not have better captured the romantic, snow-covered gingerbread village quality of the Old Town square during the holidays. Open daily from November 29th through January 7th, Tallinn hosts its ninth Christmas market, combining outstanding cultural programs with leisure activities for the entire family. Many guests choose this remarkable time of year to spend a few days at the Telegraaf, literally just a few dozen steps from the Christmas Market. For reservations and more information call +372 600 0600 or email info@telegraafhotel.com.
Corelli Music and the Telegraaf
Journey centuries back in time to Venice with the Corelli Baroque Orchestra, the chamber choir, Voces Musicales, and conductor Risto Joost, when on December 29th they perform Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” “Magnificat,” as well as “Clarae Stellae, Scintillate” in St. John’s Church. Corelli Music is one of the region’s most renowned ensembles performing exclusively with period instruments.
The Telegraaf is working directly with Corelli on this event, and tickets are available through the hotel. It’s sure to be an unforgettable evening during one of the most special times of the year. For tickets or information call +372 600 0600 or email info@telegraafhotel.com.
