ICE FESTIVAL in Pärnu on Ferbruary 2011
Pärnu and the Pärnu county in the western part of Estonia have been associated with water through the ages. The site of Pärnu at the meeting point of the river and the sea has been the home for Estonians already since the ancient times.
Twice a year, Pärnu invites families from all over the world here to have fun and to show them what the sea has brought and given to us and what water means to us.
In winter when the sea and the river are covered with ice and people can put on skates and skis, you will be welcome to the ICE FESTIVAL (18–27.02. 2011).
The winter festival area will be open to everybody in the streets of the Old Town of Pärnu – at the crossing point of the Rüütli, Hommiku and Pühavaimu streets.
