International Järvi Summer Festival is one of the biggest classical music festivals in Estonia and it takes place in July and August in Pärnu, in summer-capital of Estonia, in famous resort.

Estonian conductors Neeme Järvi and Paavo Järvi are well-known around the world and they both are main artists in Järvi Festival, conducting concerts and give conducting masterclasses. All other members of Järvi music-family like flutist Maarika Järvi, conductor Kristjan Järvi, cello-players Teet Järvi, Marius Järvi and others are involved with this great festival.

In 2011 festival will be opened by Järvi Festival Orchestra conducted by Paavo Järvi and final concert with Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by maestro Neeme Järvi.

There will be 10 maginificent concerts, where will perform great musicians around the world like legendary violinist maestro Ivry Gitlis, clarinet-player Fabio di Casola (Switzerland), violinists Florian Donderer (Germany), Ulrike Danhofer (Austria) , great viola-soloists Mikhail Zemtsov (Holland) and Gareth Lubbe (Germany), double-bass player Oskari Hannula (Finland) and best Estonian young musicians whose mostly work out of their homeland, will gather in Pärnu in Järvi Festival to play together in Järvi Festival Orchestra and give chamber music and solo concerts. Silver Ainomäe, Kalev Kuljus, Martin Kuuskmann, Anna-Liisa Bezrodny, Andres Kaljuste, Miina Järvi, Juta Õunapuu, Triin Ruubel, Kaija Lukas, Mari-Liis Päkk and others will perform this year.

In same time of festival will take place Järvi International Masterclasses for Conductors and Orchestra and String and Wind Masterclasses. There will be 5 big symphonic concerts, where Järvi Festival Orchestra, Pärnu City Orchestra and Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform and 5 great chamber music concerts, where perform also leading Estonian musicians like Arvo Leibur, Elar Kuiv, Henry-David Varema and others. In 3-hours chamber music gala concert will perform 30 great young musicians in 10 different chamber music ensembles.

Concerts will take place in best Estonian concert venues, in Pärnu Concert Hall and also in main concert venues of Pärnu (Eliisabet Church, Ammende Villa, Town Hall).
