Clayhills Gastropub - First gastropub in the Baltics!

Clayhills is a friendly local gastropub in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, where besides a great selection of beers and wines and an inspiring menu you will find an atmosphere of a warm and welcoming home, housing a collection of striking photographs and some friendly locals engaged in lively conversations by the bar.

Clayhills gastropub is situated in a medieval historical house on Pikk Street which was originally owned by the Clayhills family who originated from Scotland and whose company “Thomas Clayhills & Son” was possibly the oldest trading company in Estonia.

Gastropub is a combination of two words – gastronomy and pub – and promotes itself as a good restaurant in addition to being a pub. The menu takes inspiration in both British and local tradition with ingredients that are seasonal and locally sourced.

In the best traditions of gastropubs, our menu is written on a giant blackboard and dishes change frequently according to the season. Along with our old-time favourites, such as home-made pork and apple sausages and gourmet burger, our menu features light summer salads and such great dishes as pan-fried baby trout with organic apple cider sauce, breast of duck with bokchoi, vanilla-lime mash and soya citrus jus and for desert, try our dark chocolate-Guinness cake.

In the summer season there is a fantastic terrace to the front of the building and on weekends there is no better place to relax and to listen to some great live music.
