Tallinn to get cleaned-up beach

The head of the North Tallinn district, Vilja Savisaar, says that Pikakari beach in Kopli will be cleaned before the summer at a cost of a million kroons (EUR 64,000). The Pikakari area will be tidied up in cooperation with Tallinn's ornithology association. There will be a couple of new lookout towers and information tables. In the beach area there will be toilets, dressing cabins, a playground and some kiosks.
