Tallinn spawns more boutique hotels

Real estate businessmen Raivo Remmelgas and Ruslan Rastostsenkov have invested EEK 100 million (EUR 6.4 million) in the new 5-star hotel Savoy Boutique Hotel in Tallinn's Old Town, due to open at the beginning of June, and which is the second in their TallinnHotels chain. The third, the Hotel Bern, should be completed within the next year. The operator of the TallinnHotels chain is OU Aldera Hotell, whose executive director Kaido Ojaperv says that TallinnHotels is concentrating on developing small niche-hotels with 100 or less rooms.
