Türi Railway And Coach Station / Описание
In 1898 the railway, 150,6 km long, was simultaneously started to be built from both ends,Tallinn and Viljandi. The first train arrived in Tallinn on 18th June 1900 but officially the railway line was launched on 21 Aug 1901. In 1923 the station was renamed as Türi instead of previous Allenküla and Alliku. In 1930 the station was refurbished, a sheltered roof was removed and a two-storied side-building was constructed. A new water tower together with a pumping station was built. In 1941 the Soviet forces exploded the station, the water tower and the depot. By 1945 a new station was built, a new depot was bing finished and the surroundings were cleaned.Дать оценку
