Midsummer ferries to Estonian islands already booked

All ferry tickets to Saaremaa and Hiiumaa from Estonia are already booked for the midsummer weekend, but people can still get to islands if they are ready to wait, informs Saaremaa Shipping Company. The company’s line director Aidar Lees-Leesmaa says it will add an additional ferry on the Hiiumaa route and two smaller boats on the Saaremaa route. Ships will sail without a schedule if there are too many passengers. The passenger boat Monica takes people from Tallinn to nearby Naissaar on June 23; a one-way ticket costs EEK 125 (EUR 8).
