easyJet sees greater future in Tallinn
Low-cost airline easyJet is searching for opportunities to open new routes from Tallinn. The company might also move its call centre from London to the Baltic region. In the longer run, moving the company’s Russian-directed base there is also a possibility. John Kohsaat, easyJet’s manager in Central and Eastern Europe, says that he does not consider Ryanair a competitor – its product is not as good and it uses secondary airports. easyJet wants to win over more business travellers. The whole low-cost airline business is heading in a direction where airlines are making more money with additional services rather than with ticket sales.
