South-African Food Weeks 27.09-11.10.2013
Meriton Hotels continues with Food Weeks tradition and for the third time we introduce the South-African cuisine and culture. South African Food Weeks are supported by South African embassy in Finland. Paul Senosi from Tallinn European School has been a great help as well.
The food weeks opening gala dinner took place in 27th of September. Musical entertainment at the gala dinner was provided by Meissa Niang & Sila Fato, a group of reknown, internationally appreciated artists. Lead vocalist Meissa Niang’s distinctive, unique voice has delighted audiences in all corners of the globe. Opening gala dinner menu included all the South African cuisine delicacies: African squash soup, char grilled catfish, ostridge and African Melktert. Wines are provided by West Cape.
South-African dishes are available in café Mademoiselle (Paldiski mnt.4) and Bistro Mary (Paldiski mnt.4).
