SLK Ferries was established in March 2005 from Saaremaa Shipping Company to start the international projects and operate the commercial ferry lines.
The first new ferry line is Mõntu- Ventspils, what opens in May 2005.
This company belongs 100% to Saaremaa Shipping Company.
The administration of the new company consist of two people Anu Lomp and Jaak Põldma.
The head office is in Estonia in Kuressaare Kohtu 1 in Saaremaa Shipping Company rooms. In May wll be opened a new representation in Ventspils, Plosta 5.
The tickets to Mõntu – Ventspils Line are sold in SLK Ferries Kuressaare and Ventspils representations and in tourist offices in Estoni and in Latvia.
