A fun orienteering game in the exhibition halls of Kumu, which is suitable for groups of friends and whole families. Ask for the orienteering map from the ticket office and enjoy your museum visit in a totally new way!

A tour for visually impaired visitors
The history of Estonian art through three centuries will be introduced in the course of the tour. Visually impaired visitors are invited to touch a number of sculptures.

Čiurlionis and His Time in Lithuanian Art
Major works by the Lithuanian artist M. K. Čiurlionis (1875–1911), one of the grand and characteristic representatives of the Art Nouveau era: a neo-romantic and unusual symbolist, whose paintings are closely related to musical pieces.

The Soviet Woman in Estonian Art
When Soviet power was established in Estonia, a new type of woman began to be imposed – the Soviet woman. Released from gender limitations and made equal to men, she was to devote herself to work – the building of a new society.

Tracing Neo-Impressionism: Mägi and Finch

Early Pointillist paintings by the Estonian Modernist Konrad Mägi (1878–1925), framed by works of the famous Neo-Impressionist artists Paul Signac, Alfred William Finch, Henri-Edmond Cross and others.

Metal sculptures of the classic Finnish artist Eero Hiironen (b 1938), whose main themes are water, light and pure nature.

Something to look forward to in autumn
John Constable. From the collections of the Victoria & Alberti Museum

A great event of the autumn season is the opening of the exhibition of England’s Romantic landscape painter John Constable (1776–1837). Paintings from the collections of the noted Victoria & AlbertMuseum provide unique insight into Constable’s work process and chart the artist’s historical and lasting influence, which remains strong to this day.

The Kumu shop has been re-opened and offers an exciting selection of items to visitors. The shop is open during museum hours.
