International Tallinn Flower Festival 2011

The 3rd international Tallinn Flower Festival in the Towers` Square (Tornide väljak) park in Tallinn will open on 27 May and stay open to the public until 27 August 2011.

The 1st Flower Festival in 2009 was a great success, attracting over 400,000 visitors and the event is on its way to become a yearly tradition that brings together gardening and flower lovers from all over Estonia and the rest of the world.

The aim of Tallinn Flower Festival is to bring together gardening and horticulture enthusiasts from Estonia and abroad, give its participants an opportunity to create remarkable garden plots and thereby gain positive publicity and offer aesthetic enjoyment to the citizens and guests of Tallinn throughout summer. Festival guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the participants' creations, familiarize themselves with new horticultural trends and observe the growth of garden plants from late spring until late summer.

The themes of this year's festival are "Seaside village garden" and "Folk patterns".
