A recreational location with beautiful scenery and a number of springs was meant to become an artificial lake. The work statred in1990. On 4th July 1992 the lake was opened to the public. On the same date annually a Lake Party is held and in August there is a tradition of a night concert.
The lake covers an area of 7,7 hectars. The shores are sandy and it is surrounded by greenery. The Lake holds a man-made island and an outdoor swimming pool with a jumping tower.
The Beach park is probably more than 200 years old and belonged to the Church Estate. The older part used to be in regular style, but gradually it has become a free-style mixed park.
