A little story about how it all began...
On a relatively wet and dark autumn night when the children were already asleep I decided that Estonia needs one more shop for handicraft and art. Since there are very many people in my social circle who are involved with handicraft and art, the shop got it's name Loomekombinaat. That's the way Mati Hunt used to call his home, because a lot of colorful people visited it. So great thanks to him for that wonderful name.

Right now there are more than 50 different handicraftsmen and businesses who cooperate with Loomekombinaat. They create some of our most wonderful products - from elegant doilies to fancy pieces of furniture. We try to keep our products in an appropriate tone and appriciate naturality, simplicity, naivety and recycling very much.

Loomekombinaat won a windowdesign award from Tallinn city in 2009.
