30.08.2006
According to the travel agency Wris, the most popular new travel destinations for Estonians have been Crete, Sicily, Rhodes and Santorini, plus new direct flight destinations Dubrovnik and Barcelona. Tours within Europe are still popular, with Egypt remaining the most popular wintertime destination. Distant destinations include Cuba, Tanzania and Namibia. After Finnair opens its route to Delhi on November 1, interest in India will probably increase, predicts Alar Vasemagi, manager of Wris. According to Matti Pruul, head of Bookinghouse, the most popular destinations in Europe are Dublin, London, Frankfurt, Brussels, Munich and Malaga.
